Getting started

Publishing, and updating a live site

The difference between your draft and your live site, and what changes when you press Publish.

Nothing you do in the editor is public. Your site has a draft, which only you can see, and a live version, which is what visitors get. Publish copies one onto the other.

Going live the first time

Press Go live. You choose the address — the part before .puko.page — and the site is online straight away, with HTTPS already working. Pick something short and close to your business name; it is what people will read in a search result.

Updating afterwards

Edit as much as you like: the live site does not change while you work. When you are happy, press Publish changes. There is no second confirmation, because the address was settled the first time.

What visitors see while you edit

The last version you published, unchanged, for as long as you take. A half-finished edit is never visible to anyone.
