Running your site

Enquiries and where they arrive

What happens when somebody fills in your form, where to find it, and what to do if nothing arrives.

Every message and booking from your site lands in Leads / Bookings, and you are emailed each time. There is nothing to check on a schedule and nothing to install.

Reading them

Open Leads / Bookings from the sidebar. Each row carries what the visitor typed, when they sent it, and whether anyone has looked at it yet. Opening a row marks it seen, so you can tell at a glance which ones are still waiting on you rather than on them.

The notification email

It goes to the address on your account. Replying to it replies to the customer, so an enquiry can be answered without opening the dashboard at all.

If nothing arrives

  • Check your spam folder first, and mark the message as not spam. New sending domains are treated cautiously for the first few weeks.
  • Send yourself a test through your own live page, not through the preview. The preview does not submit.
  • Confirm the site is published. A draft collects nothing, because nobody can reach it.
  • If a test arrives in Leads but not by email, the site is working and the mail is being filtered. Tell us and we will look at the sending side.
